About

It Began With Curiosity…

It started with a simple Google search, ‘Women from Pennsylvania’. Of course, Wikipedia had an extensive list, and through a random click, I was led to the story about Margaret Cochran Corbin. She’s featured in episode 001! The sensational story about a woman whose husband was killed in front of her, and she picked up immediately where he left off, loading the cannons at Fort Washington during the Revolutionary War.

Talk about a total badass!

Her story is one of the many robust stories of lesser known women I’ve come across through traveling, simple google searches, and reading a ton.

I knew World Herstory had to be something special, inclusive, and a proper homage to the incredible spirit of women everywhere. This is an idea that has been stewing since 2019. And here we are. We finally made it.

It all began with the need to feed my curiosity.

You can find new episodes every Wednesday Starting May 3, 2023.
